Then six rounds of countdown rest were carried out, with durations increasing gradually from 15 seconds to 1 minute and 50 seconds. Finally, I timed another rest without countdown. She struggled till 2 minutes and 15 seconds mark before I had to release her. Ummm, there’s a little bit of improvement. Xiaomeng lay on the bed for a long time the next day. She said that all her muscles were aching. Both of them would bite on the breathing training tube, and their noses and mouths would be sealed with film dressing, only allowing them to breathe through the tube. I told them that I would only open the valve for one of them to allow her to breathe, while the other would have to hold her breath. If the one holding her breath wanted to breathe, she would need the one who was breathing to nod in agreement. Then, I would close the latter’s valve and open the former’s, switching their roles. Do you think they cooperated well, or would they try to sabotage each other? In the end, Yaoyao got tired and didn’t want to move anymore, so we wrapped her up as a mummy using cling film to keep her immobile. Unsurprisingly, Xiaoyu used a shower cap to impose strict breath control on Yaoyao and then threw her into a vacuum bag. Yaoyao already has a phobia of vacuum bags, but this time we didn’t vacuum it out, we simply sealed her inside and manually squeezed some of the air out. As time passed, the amount of CO2 increased, the oxygen decreased, and Yaoyao finally understood the terror of a vacuum bag even without suction…

When I discovered that error, Xiaoyu had already collapsed on the ground, her lips turned purple, and she was twitching slightly… Next was a set of squats for more than two minutes. Although panting heavily, Xiaoyu still finished it successfully. Before the next exercise, she needed a good rest, so I cuffed her hands to her same-side ankles, and tied a collar around her neck over the hood, so that she can’t take the hood off by herself. There were three rounds of rest, and the set time increased from 2 minutes to 3.5 minutes. However, Xiaoyu obviously wanted to take a longer rest, and she persisted for 4 minutes and 15 seconds in the last round and made quite some noise at the end. Then there are two sets of sit-ups, each to complete 20 sit-ups and a rest of more than 1.5 minutes without removing the hood. Finally came the most exciting escape challenge of this video. Xiaoyu was box-tied with her hands behind her back and wearing the breathplay hood with no hole. A collar was put around her neck and locked. The key was thrown to a corner of the room. Xiaoyu must first sit in a chair for one minute, then break her hands free, find the key on the floor, unlock the collar, remove the collar, and finally take off the hood. Let’s review the challenge process through the following post-event interview. ―I: You were calm in the first minute. ―Xiaoyu: I had to save the air. It was not difficult to break my hands free. As soon as Yaoyao arrived, we got to work. First, I used electrical tape to wrap her upper body and thighs. Then, she put on a dress to hide the tape and we went out for lunch. When we came back, I continued to wrap her entire body except for the major joints. For her head, I initially put on a plastic bag with a ventilation pipe, and then sealed and enclosed the bag with tape, leaving only eye window and the ventilation pipe. At this point, Xiaoyu came and wanted to play rope with Yaoyao, as Yaoyao was still able to move freely. After a while, “the mummified rope master” Yaoyao had Xiaoyu bound in a hogtie, and Yaoyao was amazed by Xiaoyu’s flexibility, like a contortionist. I quickly closed her ventilation pipe again, and watched together with Xiaoyu her funny reactions and struggling… In the last part of this first video, Yaoyao suggested playing cards with Xiaoyu who was wearing a gas mask at that moment. Of course, Yaoyao, with her four fingers at each hand bound together, couldn’t hold or picked up the cards properly, so they played just a simple game. The one who lost had to have their breath restricted. For Yaoyao, that meant closing the ventilation pipe with a cap, while for Xiaoyu, it meant attaching a rebreather bag to her gas mask. However, Yaoyao was tragically tricked in practice. Please see the explanation in the video for the specific reasons ^_^ In summary, Yaoyao really enjoys the feeling of being completely wrapped in electrical tape all over her body. She commented afterward: “Tape mummification is a more extreme form of bondage. It involves layering tape over the body to restrict, constrict, and immobilize it. The process of wrapping is also creative and requires patience. If you’re not passionate about this ‘art’, you probably wouldn’t want to invest so much time and effort…” “After wrapping my body, we even took a trip outside. I walked on the streets and in the mall wearing a specially made ‘tape vest’. It was an inexplicable excitement. I didn’t know if people would discover this eccentricity.
